Sponsorship of a PACE program provides a Community Health Center with the opportunity to offer a specialized program for dual-eligible (Medicare/Medicaid) individuals in their communities, complementing the recent national CMS sponsored Dual Demonstration initiatives and positioning health centers as integral participants in both state and federal health care reform under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
